Therapeutic Art Making
When your hands are busy, your brain finally gets a break. Cortisol drops. The inner critic quiets. It's one of the most natural forms of mindfulness there is. Somewhere in adolescence most of us built a version of ourselves we've been performing ever since. Therapeutic art making has a way of cutting through that. You remember what it felt like to just do something without it having to be perfect. Great Life designs every workshop and experience around that state. Available for individuals, groups, and corporate teams throughout the Chicagoland area.

The Make or Scroll? Movement
We are overstimulated, exhausted, and losing ourselves to screens. Make or Scroll? is a social disruption movement calling people back to what actually feels good: making things with your hands.

Private Celebrations
Unique bachelorette parties, baby showers, birthdays, and milestone moments. Done differently. Chicagoland area and beyond.
Most celebrations look the same. A reservation, a toast, a photo. Great Life is something different. Everyone makes something with their hands and leaves with a real memory tied to a real moment.
A ceramic bowl from a bachelorette party. A cyanotype print from a baby shower. A painting everyone worked on together at a birthday. These are the things people actually keep. We design the experience around your moment, for groups of any size.
Get Away
A full day or a full weekend away from screens, out in nature, making things, eating good food, and actually disconnecting. Great Life retreats are part art workshop, part outdoor adventure, part summer camp for grown-ups. No experience required. Just show up.
Day Retreat
A full day of nature observation, artmaking, and fresh air in a local forest preserve. Pack light; we bring the supplies. A great entry point if you're new to retreating.

Weekend Retreat
You arrive Friday evening to a campsite that's already set up and ready. Saturday we hike the canyon, do a nature-inspired art workshop, and sit down to a farm-to-table seasonal menu cooked over an open fire. For those who want to get hands-on, there's an optional outdoor gourmet cooking lesson. Saturday night is stargazing, good conversation, and zero obligations. Sunday is slow. Morning coffee, one more hike, and you head home feeling like a different person. Art supplies and all meals included. We'll send a suggested pack list, or rent gear from us if you'd rather not haul anything.

Custom Art & Installations
Great Life creates custom biophilic artwork and installations for homes, offices, and shared spaces. Organic forms, living textures, wood, stone, and botanical imagery that make a space feel less like a box and more like somewhere you actually want to be.
Research shows nature within your field of vision reduces stress by up to 37%, increases creativity by 15%, and accelerates recovery from mental fatigue within minutes. Workers in biophilic environments are six times more likely to feel inspired and innovative.
Every piece is designed around your space and your people. Commission a single statement work or a full environmental installation.
